Alterural Association launched a project titled "Improving the Housing Conditions of Socially Impaired Persons in the Rural Areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina". The duration of the project is 3 years.
The first year project is implemented in the area of Municipalities Kreševo and Fojnica.
Since Alterural has already established positive cooperation with these municipalities, identification of socially vulnerable families has been done with the help of their social services.
In total, 20 families from the municipality of Kreševo and 41 from Fojnica area were identified.
The assistance in the arrangement of bathrooms, sanitary and carpentry works and energy efficiency improvements was determined for 16 Fojnica and 9 Kresevo families.
The architect / designer is the company AGD biro d.o.o. from Fojnica, and the donor is the French Foundation Abba Pierre.
