Cottage Prokosko jezero

The hut on the Prokosko lake is just behind this pearl of nature, located at 1626 meters above sea level. The lake is of glacial origin and is surrounded by shepherd's huts - catuns. You will find your place here if you want to escape from stress, noise and daily crowd, or you want to start winning some of the surrounding mountain peaks. The hiking signs on Vranica are arranged very well, they are visible and are constantly maintained. Among the highest peaks of the Vranica mountain are Nadkrstac (2012m), Ločika (2017m), Krstac, Treskavica, Rosinj, Tikva, Šćit, and Matorac.
In this hut with an excellent view of the lake, it is possible to find accommodation throughout the year. There are various hiking, mountain-biking and other tours available. With prior agreement with the owners it is possible to order local culinary specialties from the village, prepared from home-made food.
The cabin has 20 sleeping places, a kitchen, an enclosed porch with the view to the lake, and a toilet. Also, in the cottage there is power supply thanks to the installed solar panels.
In front is an attractive larmier, with a built-in fireplace.
